Kelli and Brendan Tie The Knot

It all started at a Halloween party 2007...

It was a matchup nobody thought would work.  Kelli, an accomplished astronaut, was always reaching for the stars.  Brendan, a fanatic of children's books, spent much of  day with his head in the stars.

After an incredible first date, they both knew this could be the start of something very special. 

Welcome to our wedding webpage.  It's official…Kelli and Brendan are getting hitched!  We are so excited to have you join us for the celebration in New Harbor, Maine on the weekend of August 4, 2012.  As soon as we stumbled upon New Harbor and the Pemaquid Peninsula we knew it was the perfect spot for us.  The area reminds us of the vacation communities we have grown up loving: Harbor Springs, Traverse City, Leeland, and Sheybogan. There are a few differences, instead of scenic Lake Michigan there is the classic rocky Maine coastline with a salty ocean breeze.  Instead of whitefish, the local specialty is lobster (which we both have become lobster roll fanatics). 

New Harbor is north of Portland, Maine, approximately 1 hour travel by car.  All of our wedding weekend festivities will take place on the peninsula.  The ceremony will be at the Harrington Meeting House, followed by dinner and dancing at the Contented Sole.  Scenic points of interest on the peninsula include the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse and the Old Fort William Henry.
